Originally from Northern California, Robin began her career in post as an intern on the film About a Boy while studying film at Chapman University. After graduation she joined the cutting room of Marc Forster’s Finding Neverland as a PA and in the years that followed worked her way up to be an assistant on films like Stranger Than Fiction and Kite Runner. As a 1st Assistant editor she ran cutting rooms on major blockbusters including the James Bond film Quantum of Solace, Warrior, and World War Z.
As an editor Robin has cut many independent features and shorts that have played at festivals such as Cannes, SXSW, AFI, and the Palm Springs Shorts Festival. She has cut music videos that have aired on The Tonight Show, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and The Today Show to name a few. She has collaborated with several talented film makers including Warren Beatty on his feature Rules Don’t Apply, as well as the Dick Tracy Special: Tracy Zooms In for TCM.
Robin cut the award winning HULU Original film, The Ultimate Playlist of Noise, the popular horror film Aftermath streaming on Netflix, Peter Facinelli’s On Fire for theaters as well as a handful of films slated to hit to the festival circuit in the near future.
When not editing films she can usually be found wandering Echo Park with her Boston terrier Buster Keaton.
